MISS EARTH 2005 CROWNING
| The 5th annual Miss Earth pageant took place on October 23rd, 2005 in Quezon City, Philippines. A total of 80 candidates from around the globe took part in the event. Alexandra Braun Waldeck of Venezuela was crowned by Miss Earth 2004 Priscilla Meirelles as the new Miss Earth. Runners-up were: Miss Earth-Air (1st RU), Amell Santana de Jesús (Dominican Republic): Miss Earth-Water (2nd RU), Katarzyna Borowicz (Poland): Miss Earth-Fire (3rd RU), Jovana Marjanovic (Serbia & Montenegro)
